Drupal has presented, since very early in its history, capabilities that go beyond the traditional functionalities of a CMS. Although its depth and breadth may seem intimidating at first glance, Drupal remains surprisingly accessible, empowering developers of various experience levels to harness its potential in creating powerful websites and web applications.
Steps to Install Drupal

- Choose Hosting: Decide where you want to host your Drupal site. You can choose from various hosting providers that offer Drupal-friendly hosting packages.
- Set Up Database: Create a new MySQL or MariaDB database for your Drupal site. Note down the database name, username, and password as you will need them during the installation process.

- Start Installation: Open a web browser and navigate to your Drupal site's URL (e.g., http://yourwebsite.com). You should see the Drupal installation wizard. Choose your preferred language and click on the "Save and continue" button.
- Database Configuration: Enter the database details you created earlier (database name, username, password) in the database configuration step of the installation wizard. Click on the "Save and continue" button.
- Configure Site: Enter the site name, email address, and admin username and password in the site configuration step. You can also choose the default country, time zone, and other settings. Click on the "Save and continue" button.
- Install Profile: Choose an installation profile based on your needs. The standard profile is suitable for most websites. Click on the "Save and continue" button.
- Install: Drupal will now install the necessary files and configure your site. Once the installation is complete, you will see a confirmation message.
